The second round of Jupiter square Saturn

The last conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn took place on December 21, 2020 at 0.28 Aquarius. This marked the transition from one belief system to another in a sign associated with breaking from the known. We have lived through the opening four years of this new, two hundred year cycle of Jupiter/Saturn in Air conjunctions. As Jupiter squares Saturn for the second time (of three), Jupiter is retrograde in Gemini and Saturn is direct in Pisces. (On August 19, Jupiter was direct and Saturn was retrograde.) The third and planets direct square of Jupiter and Saturn takes place under a sign change (Cancer/Aries) on June 15, 2025. We may experience a new frame of reference being born then.
In the meantime, Jupiter is facing a reckoning from Saturn in regards to the facts, ideas and opinions that underpin what we believe. What even is the nature of belief? Is it not likely that what we believe will always morph (Saturn in Pisces) when we have new information? How have your beliefs changed over the years?
To what degree do our beliefs (Jupiter) shape our perception (Gemini) of reality (Saturn)? What is reality if we are subject to manipulation of our perception?
I think of truth as Aquarian—the truth that stands beyond our belief and our sense of what is real. If we go back to the Jupiter/Saturn conjunction in the first degree of Aquarius, where Pluto is currently transiting, we might ask, what is Pluto revealing to us about the nature of truth? What is truth if it is not what we believe? Can we be open enough to experiences that take us beyond everything we believe? It’s time to Free Associate!
